Give both programmes a try as they both have free trials (full but time limited to 15 days (I think)) Just unhappy they don't have a version for Mac OS. I have no connection with Breeze Systems other than being a very happy customer since early 2001. Breezebrowser does a very good job of converting RAW images (any RAW images) into a \converted folder attached to the RAW dated folder and will link automatically (you decide which) to your editor when conversion is complete. If I download from the G2 (yes still in use) they will drop into C:\G2 Images\2009\12\01 - Nikon D300 C:\D300 Images\2009 and so on with the programme recognising which camera produced the image when using a card reader. As far as I am concerned there is no better downloader from my card reader and I have tried a few.īreezeBrowser will also be trialled but Downloader is the important bit to me even though I have purchased both programmes.Ĭonnect a digital camera - any camera - or card reader and images (today in my case) will drop into C:\40D images\2009\21\01.

As this is not available for Mac OS I will "hopefully" run it from Win XP Pro (as I am now) via Parallels. I have used Downloader (now Downloader Pro) since my Canon D30, 10D, 20D to 5D and 40D now plus Canon G2, Nikon D70 and D300 and DL Pro has never let me down. Apologies but I do not have a Mac computer but it is on order (iMac i7) and should be with me by no later than 22 December - can't wait
